Our Story

In her first year of university, McGill student Tasmia worked with various non-profit organizations and interned with an educational technology startup where her interest in social impact grew. While working on renewable energy and sustainable packaging, her research spanned across marketing, sales, strategy, and finance. She further analyzed the factors that characterize Generation Z's purchases and increasing interest in philanthropy. She realized that the main interests lied in corporate social responsibility, and wanted to create an opportunity for students to make a lasting impact before they enter the workforce full-time. Thus, Cultivaze was founded in May 2021.
